Hello, I am Shawn Sims, owner of Al's Absolute Best Restoration and Cleaning. I did not come to this trade later in life. I grew up in it. I was eight years old when I started tagging along on jobs, carrying hoses and learning how a carpet is supposed to look when it is truly clean. More than thirty years later, I am still doing the work myself, and the company still carries my family's name.

Al's Absolute Best started as a one-truck carpet cleaning company serving Colchester and the surrounding towns. Over the years we added the services our customers kept asking for: upholstery and mattress cleaning, tile and grout, area rugs, pet odor treatment, and eventually full water, mold and smoke damage restoration.
The equipment has changed a great deal in three decades. The approach has not. We clean for health, not just for looks, we show up when we say we will, and we charge a fair price for honest work.
